It FINALLY made it!

I've been prowling this forum for months now waiting on my 8 to get here (Germany) from the states! I had it for a about a month and a half in Florida before I came here, but the last almost 2 months, I've been stuck without it. SOOOO finally here and having a ball, had to put snow tires on because the Potenzas were like glass even on dry days. I've got lots of goodies on the way, (CanZoomer Stage I arrived today, and I pick it up tomorrow) and lots more in mind for the months to come, so of course, you'll get more pics!

Damn, that's a HUGE license plate! I thought US plates were big, but that thing covers most of the grill area!

By the way, the tint is 7%. The only thing currently done is the stereo work. I just have an Eclipse 200W amp pushing a single Diamond 10" Sub. The bass was extremely overpowering so the gain is turned pretty far down, but sounds great (to my ears anyway). Also put in a wireless FM modulator so I can run my Nomad Jukebox III in which I put in a 60GB hard drive.

I've had my 8 one week and one day as of today and have driven a couple of Auto Bahns. With the snow tires (H rated) I've only taken her to 210 KPH (Should be around 130 MPH) but once the summer comes, the Volks/Falkens go on, and we'll see.

Another cool thing about my location in Germany, there is a track that the public can go to every weekend and run. It's only a 20 minute drive from where I live, it's properly maintained and get this.........Insurance covers you and your car if something bad happens!

What unit are you stationed with there? Wish I had my 8 when I was there for some nice autobahn runs! Make sure you hit the Europalace while your there if you haven't already.

I'm a contractor working at Campbell Barracks. I've only been here since Nov 8th but loving every minute of it. Before this I had been in the Middle East for a little over four and a half years, so yeah, I'm pretty happy now!

HOLY SHIITE MUSLIMS! I just installed CanZoomers Stage I

I must admit I thought the other guys were exaggerating about this mod, but damn! it really packs a punch! The install was not painfull at all (but I broke the wire clips) and when he says the ECU cover will be snug........well, lets just say this was the hardest part of the install. Anyway got it all done, reset the ECU (steering wheel all the way to the left and right) and took it for a spin and headed to AutoBahn 5 (READ NO SPEED LIMIT) with a Sh*& eating grin on my face. Never had a chance to check it out in 2nd or 3rd in town, but 1st got stomped on twice and I was grinnin like the devil himself!

Ok, Made it to the on ramp and waited till a huge break in traffic so I could start out from 0 and move it on through. I thought 1st was good before, but when I slammed second, I thought I was in HEAVEN! The pull in the high Rs is way beyond VTEC. It was truly amazing in 2nd, and well 3rd 4th and 5th! I took her up to a solid 130 MPH and held it a bit before I backed off (my snow tires are H-rated as I mentioned before so I didn't wanna push the limit too much). Anyway, long story short, EVERYONE, save your $$ and get this thing! I would have paid twice as much if I knew it felt this good.

Next is the Borla, and K&N typhoon (I expect them in about 2 weeks) so more to write then.

Feel free to post this message where you think it would get the most views (just drop me a line so I can read the replies), I'm going for a late night spin! It's Friday night, I'm in Germany, the land of incredible beer and beautiful girls, but I'm spending this one with Thor (my 8's Name) DROP THE HAMMER AND BRING THE PAIN~!

Cheers!

I think you have the whole board drooling

AutobahnRX8:

We are living the Autobahn through you. Keep us posted. I can only imagine taking the X to 130 MPH in Canada. I think I would have a thread to add to the ticket comments....

Great looking machine. The red calipers are outstanding...

Enjoy, and keep us posted.

Chris.
