Yesterday, after a long time of wanting one. i finally picked up my Brilliant Black 2004 Mazda RX-8 GT MT. when i was at the bank buying it from the guy, a lady pulls up in a mustange and says "Hey what kind of car is that? It looks really sweet!" so that made me feel even better about buying it. I am very happy and i cant stop looking at it.

i havn't heard of a HPDE course. but i've taken a BMW Performance driving course. and that helped me alot.

I had a self proclaimed "car guy" as me what kind of car I had. He had always had Z's and was in the market for a sportscar too.

Congrats you lucky BB owner, Treat that car right or I'll hunt yer down.

If I seen this last winter, I would've completly agreed with you. Fortantly or Unfortantly, there seems to be a very high population of RX-8s in the mid-pennsylvanian boondocks. Especially in a small town where I know there's 3 Red 8s (One is just a factory, no options 8. Another has all of the options and badly done window tint and there's a dent on the one side. There's another with just the spoiler.) There's a Black RX-8, it didn't have a spoiler.

Mustangs and Eclipses are a dime a dozen, RX-8s are getting there. but even seeing all of the RX-8s just pushes me to job hunt even more. Darn car, I get the love sickness whenever I think about driving one.
