Alright finally after months and months of whining I took a day and just made my IPod match the car and it looks great!

The red lights you see reflecting off the IPod are my red interior bulbs in the overhead area, gives the car a great look at night =)

but the setup looks good - what is the brand of FM transmitter you are using?

 

looks kinda big & bulky....what matches now? what didn't match?

My friend has that exact same FM transmitter. He likes his.


How is the sound quality with yours?
My iTrip is a let down.
I guess there are too many stations around for it to work very well.

 

The quality is perfectly fine, however its about 80% volume which does annoy me quite a bit. I have to turn the volume to MAX on a few tracks to get even a good loudness. Then i flip it to radio for a moment and its BLARRING incredibly loud. Hopefully in the near future they will fix that 80% issue and be able to put out 100% volume

 

I have the OEM mp3 I think its better cuz its not out of place and I dont have to turn the volume to max.

 

hey bud get rid of that FM transmitter...no more green display and crappy sound PLUS you can control and power the ipod from the steering wheel...using the ICElink

 

thats cool, im really slacking on the ipod thing. i need to get me one of those.
