Your car looks like a good candidate for this.

This is a beautiful 8. Very clean with just enough aggressive tones coming from the hood and everything in the engine bay. I hope my car comes together as nicely, as its not quite as understated with my carbon fiber bits everywhere.

I was going to get the Agency Power hose kit but it only replaces two hoses.

Mysql showed me some Samco-style hoses on Ebay- it's all three hoses and only $75 plus shipping.

I have also thought about making some of my own, with silicone couplers, t-bolt clamps, and aluminum piping, but it would cost too much and isn't worth the hassle.

That is the cleanest under hood job I've seen on an 8. When I get moved and settled in Phoenix you and I need to get together so I can check out your work more closely. Look at my build thread to see the beast that's coming to the desert!

I figured I would give my a thread a good bump with my dyno (in case you haven't seen it)

302-rwhp, 231 ft-lbs of torque @ 9psi on crappy AZ 91 octane pump gas

I also added my own custom LS2 ignition system.

chickenwafer I was just wondering...why did ya take the picture where you took it??? lol I mean if I was to take a picture where there is a black mark on the road it's have to be like a mile long black mark from my car lol. But anyways man nice looking car..very clean wish mine was that clean. I've cut to many corners to be that clean..money always seems to be an issue....oh and patience lol. But definable sweet

Yeah if that mark is from your car...I think everyones thought of getting a 8 would go away when they drove it. I mean you have a turbo..so just imagine if that was your mark what it would be like stock lol. Oh and yes we know it's not yours we have posi.

could be were he let off the throttle....or like when I went to a dyno I was going to do a log each pull and get the results and then later adjust a few things once I sat down...and I was letting off the throttle at about 9200 rpm and the inter...said it was only like 8750 and the dyno was only showing like 7800. So I wouldn't really say he let off there..we all know our power is gaining till like 8500 or something. I'm guessing the dyno was off and not really accurate.

i think most of FI RX8 HP starts going down after 7500 rpm, isnt it? that's what i thought...but after 7K a big drop, he might let it off too early....

his 8 is so weaksauce...

I don't remember why the 7k let off. I was standing next to it during the dyno toasting a marshmallow.

It was either lean misfires or the AFR's were getting out of range.
IDR may chickenwafer will show up and tell us.

Damn I missed all this banter! LOL

Power drops at 7K because we let off at 7K. It was the first time the car was on the dyno and I wanted to play it safe. Also why the boost didn't go up past 9psi.

I'm planning on going to a dyno in my new town soon, and maybe an E85 conversion.

Oh hells yeah. Do the Eth, but your tune seems fine. If anything, save it and build on another file cause ATm you have the highest torque dyno on the forums...
speaking of...why do you think that is?

That's a good question man, I'm not positive. I talked to Kane about it and he thought it could be due to the way I improperly had my boost controller setup. Or it could have been something with my tune...still not positive.

I know someone has made more torque than me but they refuse to post it....
