Farewell RX8 Club
Thanks RX8Soldier. Jedi54 I went with a truck because it will better fit my needs. Also needed 4x4 for the winters here in NJ. I pushed my luck to many times in the snow with the 8.
Common, everybody should also have a truck
I may be just doing the exact opposite of what you did...well...sort of. I perfectly understand what you said. I have a 4X4 truck, but also want to get the 8. With the crazy winters and all the snow here in the Northeast, it would be crazy for me to get rid off the truck - especially after it's paid off
Ideally, it would have been awesome if you could have both. I'm hoping to be able to do that, yet I realize that between insurance and gas for both will probably kill me

Good buy on the Frontier, they're a great truck! I love the VQ40, but stuck with the VG33-based truck since it's a more robust platform for off-roading. I didn't need a box, so I perfered the shorter-wheel base "SUV" Xterra.
Indeed, I've always one of each, and I've got them. The truck is handy for everything a truck does. Same, we get some nice storms in the winter up here in Canada (of course) and just a few weeks ago, we had a dumping where there was literally a foot of snow on the roads. Cars with snow tires got stuck because they turned into snow plows; winch came in handy to help a few really stuck ones. Even in my truck in 2wd I got stuck, but kick in the 4wd and it's a walk in the park. Big fan of winter/snow tires.
But indeed, you gotta have both!

But indeed, you gotta have both! The truck is getting the 32's put on this week, I just got home last night, but the 8 was just put on the road for the year today, so I drove her around for the day, of course :D

Funny, my truck has 32" tires as well and also locking differentials. As I said before, living in a place like NY, I just can't see myself getting rid off the 4X4.
I'm hoping soon to have my car/truck combo too
