thanks man! yeah i had my doubts too, but i really like it. the cf is dark enough that it blends in some, but just looks cool (i think) to have some texture to break up the black.

nah man not yet. that's on my to-do list for tomorrow. thing is, the cut-out is not exactly the right size, it's actually a tad bit bigger. or really, the oem gets smaller as you push in and it has a backing, so it the light stops itself sort of. with this, it's open on the back side, so i'm going to have to get some 2 sided tape for the edges to make sure it's a snug fit.

thanks lep, i will. the weather is nasty so far today though!

bad news...the angle/slope of this bumper is steep compared to stock, so it's VERY close to the inner bumper. so i go to line up lebren's light and low and behold it doesn't fit b/c of the depth!

damn it.

the light is too small to be mounted without the rotary accent, but too thick to be mounted with it! i'm trying to mount the light in front of the rotary accent to make it thinner, then mount it to the bumper. doesn't look as good close-up, but hopefully it'll work out if i can get it to adhere to the front side.

^I think you should contact LEBREN... Send him a cutout of what will fit and Im sure he will make you a custom one. Lebren is a cool guy, I've met him in person, he'll work with yah. If anything he might be able to modify your current light Send him a PM ASAP.

yeah i thought about that zum. i've never met him, but he helped me out a ton when i originally bought it...sent me extra wire and helped me wire it up to a switch. i'm going to try to make this work for now since i'm already knee deep, but i think i will pm him eventually to get something custom made

more pics

well i couldn't get lebren's light mounted. i'll have to get a custom one from him, or find a way to make a mold to hold the light in the right place w/o the rotary accent

otherwise, it's good. still the sag on the lower right, and it will probably need new paint soon, but so does most of my car so it looks like i've had it all along!

took some shots to show profile, etc. now that i see it outside the garage, it does seem like it's higher overall than oem, which doesn't bother me, it just means i need to get the borla sooner so my exhaust looks cooler! and don't flame me...the car is filthy, the fender vents need to be painted, the caliper paint is peeling...they're on my list, ok!!
