so true. we don't get **** out here. can't even go to Seven Stock, what's up with that? car shows here are terrible. the import scene in general is just weak. don't get me wrong, east coast has potential, but it's harder.
doesn't matter if we got 5 months or 5 years...west coast will still dominate.

Cali cars are too much for me sometimes, I mean, show cars are nice but they are a total waste of money for me. I just dont see a point in having a 400-500 hp car and at the same time having 20 inch rims by 13 inches wide with a full stereo system taking up the whole rear seat! hahah, but thats just me, Im a self proclaimed hater. I like to follow form and function. Keepin it simple, yet keepin it clean, but at the same time adding my own touch.

East Coast does have Mazsport and Petit - thats a big plus.
West Coast definetely does get the style sooner. Of course the JDM style is always set in Japan first and all of us just tend to catch on it later. BTW, hawaii is closer to the JDM source than Cali... S*CK IT!!!

This is going to be fun. Maybe you guys should gather some pics and have another forum like the Mazda 3 guys vote on which 8's they like. So you know theres no biased votes, since many will not care/know about which side of the state each car came from.

rx-8s have been out for enough years now, there are plenty builty up on each coast. I say do it now!!!
in a year, you can have a rematch with your new contendors. Otherwise this could get delayed forever. FYI: I somone plans on getting something in the year 2010 - can we wait until then?
Since the east coast issued the challenge - i say they need to step up with waht they have.
