Dyno of my RX-8
I took my stock RX-8 to the dyno a while ago just to get a baseline and see where it is at. I don't really plan to do any real power-adders since B Stock only allows cat-back exhaust.
And a comparison to my 300ZX with intake and exhaust. The RX-8 makes less peak power but has a much wider power band.
And video.

Awesome! Maybe since you aren't going to go for power add on's you should go for looks instead(that's the route I'm going for first). For example, lowering your car give it a really aggressive stance compared to stock, strakes from rotaryfx , or rotary chrome accents give it a new look too.

Looking at the dyno results, I had a feeling something in my ignition system was a little off, I was thinking more of spark plugs.
I would like to lower it, but B Stock only allows shocks and front sway bar, which I will be doing. But I will get the rotary chrome accents, I like them.

RX8 and a Truk....
Was that 'corrected' hp? Don't use 'corrected'. You shouldn't car what your car would hypothetically make in whatever 'idea' circumstances the dyno thinks.
But - that's about standard, I suppose. Funny how Mazda passes off 210hp as 230, isn't it?

Then you better prepare yourself for lower than expected numbers
My dyno run was only 190HP:

HP wise we should be pretty even so I will be okay with 190WHP.

Mods are listed in my signature.
Couple factors still need addressed before I can say that is my "final" numbers.
I should have told the guy to red-line it instead of 8500 rpm because it appears that the power curve was still rising.
I also want to correct the AFR a tad.
Charles R Hill and I talked for awhile about that and he feels that I might have some "hidden power" waiting for the AFR to be corrected.
We also question the actual dyno itself (dynojet)... but I don't feel like spending more money at another dyno just to prove that point.
