Thanks to RX8club member dannobre for the HUGE assist in installing the new Coilovers (tein basic). Thanks to www.adrenalineracing.com for the AWESOME deal on the coilovers.

Anyone in the Surrey/Vancouver area, find Dale's Alignment shop - they did the alignment. Ask for Jason; he's da man - I can get more info for that shop if requested.

Thanks -
I didn't measure before, but I'm guesssing close to 2" in front.
Kevin - Yup - been wanting it lower for awhile. Got the coilovers for a screaming deal; about $100 less than the next-cheapest place. :D

It's a ghost-thing; left over from halloween. The couple is pretty well disabled; barely able to walk. They'll get around taking down their stuff whenever they can.

Makes me VERY happy to know he's measured the entrances to every driveway/parking lot in my area! (whew!) Weird to think that 2"? lower than stock would make the difference between scraping or not..lol :D
Thanks! I think it fits the car nicely. hehe

Looks good DMP, love the new stance! I also lowered my front about 2 inches as well and about .8 in the back with the Basics. I rarely scrape and if I do it isn't that bad. Also the ride really isn't that much more harsh. This is coming from a guy who has the Basics with RB sway bars and drove all the way to Cali with this setup.

I would bottom out on crap all the time. At my school, they just put in these gigantic speed bumps. HUGE speedbumps. I have to literally crawl over them one wheel at a time like the ricers do. If I am going over 1 mph, I bottom out and hit the ground. It sucks. My friend has a lowered TT, and he can't even go over them at all. And, you can't avoid them either, they are all over the campus.

Thanks all - Best Less-than-$700-i've spent
That's my wife's truck - she loves it too; but she'd trade it in, in a heartbeat, on a 2004+ F150...new body style (and new engine) is Mucho-better. I'm hoping to lift her truck next year - just 4" or so...and swap to a 4.11:1 rear-end (from current 3.55:1).
