TX Do this with a Z or S2000!! (moving with an RX-8)

I didn't see a thread about this...In other words, I didn't search that hard, ha ha!

But I know my 8 has come in handy MANY times when moving stuff. Because of the doors, I've been able to move things in the 8 that wouldn't fit in my gf's mazda 3 sedan, or my friends fx (that thing has a super low roof line!). I've moved stuff that really surprised me, but this was one I was pretty excited about!

Share any random things you've managed to fit into your 8!

I went to Lowes the other day and bought a chop saw an Air compressor and some crown molding to put up around the house. I wished I had taken pictures with the saw in ine seat and the compressor in the other seat and the boards coming through the pass through in the trunk. Actually had a guy laughing at me when I started to load it all up but quickly stopped as it all fit and I was driving away.

ha ha, yeah, luckily i'm not a big guy. it was a night, so no traffic, but my back was kinda sore!! it was only about 10 miles. i was by myself and really wanted to get that chair moved and didn't want to wait for someone w/ a truck, so i lugged it out to the parking lot from my old apt, and from that point on, i was determined not to carry it BACK to the apt. ha ha, i musta looked pretty stupid wrestling it in there for about 20 minutes!

hey gh8st! umm, that's quite a feat! one in each back seat and 2 in the front? did one fit in the trunk?? i had to get my oem wheels + tires into my gf's 3 sedan and that was tough. well not really, but they do take up a lot of room!!

that is just too funny! Good job thought. I am the same way. I have loaden my other car with things that should not have fit! Man i have moved a desk, flat screens, big CRT(s), a treadmil... a large 10 ft miror. People laughed and said most would not fit... Proved them wrong. Mcgyver for the win!

This is why I got the 8 over the S2k and miata. I have driven these cars since 05 and was in love with the s2k, but I just could not give up funtionality and the 8 is just too unique. Great Pic and story man.

^same here.... they were all super drunk except me. So guess I had to drop them off. It was about 4 years ago though... krazy night that was. I drove home 15 miles that night. And I had to stop and put gas, while I was pumping gas I looked at my rear wheel/fender and that thing was HELLAFLUSH super Tucked in like if I was on AirBags.. Looked pretty damn sexy.

The Revrend gave me a Rep. MS bumper but the side markers cracked off cause it would hit the interior door panels.
