^^^ 9 months.....its my baby! :D It'll be 12 months if you count the time from when I ordered the 8, and it was built in Japan and delivered....Oh the joys of parenthood! Insane child support payments, custody battles, visitation rights, etc.

^^^ 802.11b wireless and 10/100 wired switch with ports throughout the car! The computer can use its wireless connection to act as either an access point for other devices, or connect to other access points. I don't want to pay for cell phone service....too expensive for the amount of data its capable of transfering.
As for Half Life 2....naw, I'll just play on the PS2....or old school NES! Yeah baby! :D

wow....ok, I didn't think it was going to be such a big deal to warrant a response, but I guess I'm forced to...so here:
1. ASUS makes an addon board specifically meant for the motherboard, that happens only to be 802.11b
2. 802.11b has great distance
3. All my other wireless equipment is 802.11b.
4. No matter what wireless connection you use, none still compare to a wired connection due to the overhead (wanna argue, I have a BS in IT from RIT....you can take my word, we disect wireless networking, as well as work on designing new ones)
5. 802.11b is the most widly available and used wireless standard for hotspots
thus, I use the wireless for simple things, ie web browsing, grabbing small files, checking e-mail, etc. For large file transfers my garage is wired (as well as wireless). Thus, just a quick connection to one of the 10/100 jacks, and I'm onto my home network!
Hope that answers the questions!
