Not 100% on the r-magic lip but definitely leaning that way. But I'm still thinking of going with just OE lip and small trunk lip and pulling the rest of the aero. Remember the old silver SFR RX-8 article? Think it was one of the original turbo 8s. I always liked the look of that car. Low, simple and clean.
General stuff: brakes, brake lights, new plugs, oil filter, fluids, etc
And have 3 CELs, ABS, TS, and something else. Need to pull the codes and start ordering parts.
I'm in the middle of remodeling my house (to sell) so garage space is limited. Might be going old school and working in the driveway and the street

I haven't done brakes on the 8 in for EVER but then again, it doesn't get driven much.
Brake lights? like changing out the entire housing or just bulbs?

looking at japanparts right now: what about something more subtle like https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/27764
that and the vertex CF rear lip spoiler and you're done.

I wish the Chargespeed was just a little bigger and @$1200+shipping it is expensive for what it is.
I totally spaced Vertex. Good call for a rear lip spoiler

So a new issue popped up yesterday. The head unit and trip computer does not always come on and the A/C will not work until it does. There is a short somewhere. I hate electrical issues! Is this a known issue?
I'm so jealous that you did the European delivery. An X1 M sport would be a fun daily. I have my eye on a used X5M, there are so many bargains and at times I need to haul some stuff that is slightly too big for my other cars.
Yeah, It's M sport, and there are inexpensive BMS power plugins for maybe 50+ more HP or torque, but I'm not willing to trade durability or computer confusion for power I don't need.
MPG is really good, too. Can get over 30 on hwy or lots of power and 23 around town.
Wow, that X5M is insane!
Get you one!

No not yet. Working a lot and dealing with the home remodel. Hopefully soon though. I hate driving around with a busted lip. LOL maybe I should get some zip ties and a few stupid stickers so everyone thinks I'm a drifter.
pdx: how hard would it be to remove the rest of the lip?
otherwise, just get some of those dumbass bandaid stickers, zip ties, and put on a Stance Nation decal and you'll be good to go with the Purely...err...ricer crowd.
