IIrc, same engine as the 280Z without a turbo.

L24, like 130HP.

I had a 82' Turbo 280ZX with the L28ET. I should have never sold it. I have also owned three Maximas (well four including my parents that I drove in high school), a 91SE', 97GLE', and a 2000SE.

Leaning towards the R-magic front lip but also considering pulling all aero and going with just the OEM lip and lowering the car another 1". I may try to repair the leg lip just to see if I can.

Car needs several updates. Brakes, tires and a few recalls. Still want new set of wheels.

I have a buddy selling a clean 2008 E92 M3 DCT for cheaper than that and he already had the carbon fiber roof repaired and resprayed and he did the rod bearings as a preventative measure (can be an issue past 100k if maintenance was skimped). He owns a shop that caters to BMW's. But that one is clean, great interior.

If it wasn't gray and a 2008 (pre update) I would own it.

Yeah and that car needs a tone of work. That is pretty on par with what I found though with older Z's. Most need about $10,000.00 on top of the sale price to make them proper.

I thought you meant the ones that go for over $20k.
Saw one for $50k.

Still have not decided on a front lip. Like these new wheels by Weds. 18x10 and 21lbs.

WedsSport RN-05M is the latest addition to the WedsSport line up. RN-05M features the new Double AMF manufacturing technology and advance AIR-PLUS technology. The Double AMF technique allows to reduce weight and increase strength on both front and rear rim barrel without having to add material which translate to weight. The AIR-PLUS innovation is directly from our motor sport racing program where the wheel is capable to carry more air volume and also increase spoke rigidity.

I'm glad you posted that.
I've always been partial to 5 spoke wheels.
I also like manufacturing processes.
This is a good detailed explanation, very interesting to me.

Advanced Metal Forming (AMF);

did you decide which lip you want to go with?
I still need to get those darn recalls done, just waiting for them to get parts in so I can do them all at once (fuel tank and both airbags)

What else is on the to-do list for the car? Mostly maintenance stuff?

General stuff: brakes, brake lights, new plugs, oil filter, fluids, etc

And have 3 CELs, ABS, TS, and something else. Need to pull the codes and start ordering parts.

I'm in the middle of remodeling my house (to sell) so garage space is limited. Might be going old school and working in the driveway and the street
