i think that's the one from last year that was street racing in philly near broadstreet, hit something, went airborn and hit another car killing a guy. stupid street racers also i think was the first silver to be wrecked cursing the rest of them to being the most wrecked color.

The article said:

Police say the brothers were in a car traveling south on Delaware Avenue at an extremely high rate of speed possibly over a 100 miles-per-hour when the car went out control, hit a concrete medial, became airborne, and landed in the northbound lanes crashing head-on into the Lancaster County car that police believe was heading home from the Phillies game.

So uh, they made it sound like the fault of the car.

After the initial crash debris scattered and struck a third car, the striking car then traveled 700-feet and caught fire. Police do not believe drag racing was involved.

Of course there was no drag racing. This is an RX-8. Silly.

Let's start a poll to see what how many of each color has been wrecked. I'll give it a try. Never started a poll. Bare with me.

which part? the first one to be wrecked? i believe so the stories were posted on POSTED: 3:12 p.m. EDT September 7, 2003 and i believe the wreck happened the day before. since the cars had only been here about 2 months at that point it had to be one of if not the first. . that was the first silver on i heard about. also if you do a search for curse and silver you will find alot of threads concerning wrecked silvers and they seem to be by far the most reported on this forum.

so i guess i should rephrase that as - the first silver wreck reported on this forum and the silvers as the most wrecked reported on this forum.

To be truly scientific we would want to crosstab that against sales by color, perhaps silver sells more?
