Car destroyed
After waiting FOREVER, turns out my car was destroyed in the train derailment. All three of my dealers cars were destroyed. They said it will be at least 2 weeks before they get reallocated cars.
I put down a $500 deposit. If I can find another car up in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area, will I be able to get my deposit back? (I'm in Rochester)

Your deposit should be fully refundable. I have a deposit down for a car that I won't take delivery of. So I either have to get my deposit back or transfer it to someone else. It is due October if you are interested... It's green, black/chapparal interior, 6spd, GT, Nav, rear spoiler.

2 months? That doesn't sound right. I thought Mazda was taking care of the reallocation. 2 months would put them back in Japan on the assembly line, I'm pretty sure we'll be getting cars already on the way here. My dealer said a couple weeks. If it takes more than 3 I will be upset.
The good news is I found the same car on a lot in the Twin Cities, so my dealer agreed to take another $500 off of MSRP so that I would not change dealerships, so I'm now getting it for $1,000 under MSRP.
They're also giving me 3.5% financing which I think is pretty awesome.
Sometimes it pays to live in small midwestern towns where customer service still means something.
