defrost vent pod

check this out ,sorry for crappy pics.. Custom defrost vent pod, no gauge yet!!!!!!!! The guy name Block8head from Mazda6club made them : this pics showing mazda RX8 pod on the left/3 onthe right and mazda6 in the middle the 3 and rx8 side by side front view and this is his car :

damn thats sweet, just what I was looking for... Id rather not create a whole new account just for one transaction... if anyone has an account I would appreciate it if they PM'd block8heads email so I can purchase one of these...

How hard is it to route wires through the vents? I've never been up there.

i don't think will be that hard... You just drill the hole where th the vent and run wire from under neath the dash..........

just emaile block8head about these,,, it looks if he tilted the angle just a few degrees more in the direction of the driver they would be perfect, in the pics of the 8 it looks a lil close too close to the A pillar

the one on the car was just the prototype ,he said : the new one he make have better angle view and clearance between the pod and the pillar

I emailed him because I need a oil pressure gauge. After emailing him though I can't quit thinking about how easy it would be to make this out of a standard autometer pod and your factory defrost vent..... I don't know though I am going to look into it more tomorrow.

Yup just talked to Ben about this, he said the same thing I will post pics of mine when I recieve it so people will have a good understanding of what they will get...
He said he will ship Friday....stay tuned...

OHHHH I want. Nitrous guage FTW. It will take some work to run the wires, etc. Please post pics when you get it.
