You should get the plate holder that flips down when you are driving and then pops up when you slow down.

If you want to upgrade your wheel/tire package a co-worker of mine has these for sale:
I'm selling a set of OZ Superleggera 16x7 wheels. They're 4x100 (I think the offset is 37) and were on my first gen Miata. The wheels are in perfect condition. On the wheels are Hankook R-S2 205/45-16 tires. The tires are basically new with about 10 autocross runs and about 500 miles of street driving on them.
