Debadged again :)

After about half an hour with the hair dryer and another half hour with some wax to remove the goo, I've got a bare bum again

Took a few more while I was at it - the building behind is where I work - its owned by IBM, they took it over in the 60's and previously owned by the Ministry of Defense, the spitfire was designed and built here

Much easier to clean the calipers with the new rims :

Installed my chromed turn bulbs some time ago - only in the front though

Looks great. How did you fill the holes after debadging?

It was all done by my mate at the bodyshop, was done at the same time I had my CTD germany spoiler, and Euro lip spoiler taken off, so had about 20 holes needing filled. He also installed the MS replica wing - basically he plate welded behind and used minimum amount of filler possible.

Looks better without the big veilside sticker on the back. You need a euro spoiler instead.

BTW.. I think the borla has has the best looking tips imho..

LOL, wonder where I could get one of those

Its not as shiney as the RB or Hymee, but gives that more solid, fatter, look by the inner tube being smaller diameter than the pipes themselves.

what is that back part of your kit? is that the rear appearence package?

how do you think a Mint blue spoiler would look with this kit?

Yeah, its a long story. Back when I ordered the car I asked for the mud-flaps to be included (front and back) when I picked it up they had put the front flaps on, but the 'rear-under deflector' (as its called in the UK) on the back - so I kicked up a bit of fuss - they were going to have to fit a whole new rear bumper due to their mistake. However I realised if I was getting a kit (was thinking MS at that time) then maybe they'd go ok - so said if they didn't charge me for various accessories they'd fitted then I'd let them off the hook. So I got them from free, the illum gear stick, front flaps and the B-pillar trims!

As yet I've not found a rear end replacement that I like and so am holding out for someone to do something different - not as mad as Veilside D1GT, and something different from all the MS rear clones out there...

Might work, but I found with the previous (CTD Germany) spoiler you have to be careful, it just wasn't right when sat with the rest of the kit.

I like the MS one as it flows with the curves of the rear

Next on the checklist ! We have some stupid law about how dark, so can only tint the rear windows - they do also pull you over for it - know someone who got a £600 ($1000) fine for having their front ones too dark!

that's not a stupid law. It's needed because deadbeats pull out guns on cops when they're pulled over. If the cop can't see in the window, he's good as dead. Don't blame the law makers, blame the pieces of **** who make laws like that necessary.

Fair enough, very few licensed guns in this country. The reason quoted is higher accident rates due to poor visibility in UK.
