from paint and body experience someone backed into you and took off.it may be more like an insurance claim then a dealer install problem but try it out you never know.

Thanks for the advice... The dealer has already repaired it for free! Nice to have connections!! There also weren't any scuff marks or paint scratches before the repair. I thought that also because there were 2 small dents where the cracks were also....



Not sure how much I added because I bought the 5liter large oil container. I didn't overfill & the oil is at the proper level now.

Tell me about it!! My car was in for 3 major things... the 2hr 24k service, 4hr recall oil cap, & the bumper repair so maybe somehow it slipped his mind. Who knows...

I have a good story this time. While away at the American Falls Casino...the valet parked my car. When we got up to the suite my daughter was looking out the window & saw my car...she was starring at it & said she thought someone was still in it. So I told her to stay & check to see... Sure enough someone came out like 10mins later!! Then he stood infront my baby checking her out. Walked to the back & checked her out some more!

They just love my car there! I really do think my RX8 is the only one that valets there so they kinda know me now... I always get things like... "yeah the neon car..." Because of my red footwells & blue leds under my seats...

Not to rain on your parade but the design of the rotary engine allows it to run much differently than a piston engine in the event of low or no oil conditions. In a piston engine if you run out of oil your engine will seize completely. A rotary on the other hand can be ran without oil (THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED) for a much longer period of time without seizing. What will happen is, as it runs out of lubrication the internal seals and chambers will get hotter and hotter (this could take miles of driving) until the point where the rotor cannot spin anymore.

If I were you I would be pissed for sure that they did that to you but the whole blowing up of the car is a little far fetched.

I keep finding pieces of black rubber all around...thin pieces so yeah now I know where it's from!! Nothing is leaking thank god...

BTW I'd need like 1million moth ***** or so for the garage! I'm going today to get poision for the corners of my garage & whatever traps I can find & keep them under my car!
