taking the bumper off is simple and takes 20 minutes....i dont get why so many people get freaked out over it....i have never been able to get my hands in from the undertray to swap the bulbs....

all you guys must be lawyers . time is money rite ?
to remove the bumper, swap foglight housings, do some cleaning, and reinstall the bumper took about 1.5 hours.
i had a good time though, and look forward to the next time when my bumper needs to be removed

As well as those Racing Beat protective screens. Might as well yank the VFAD while you're at it!!
Getting to the bulbs without removing the bumper is possible, but after I lowered my car, I had to start putting it up on jack stands to get enough room to work.
Oh, just a safety tip, use wheel chocks or a bricks on your rear tires to stabilize your car.

Wow that thing is about to fly.
The top part of my bumper is loose (by the light) do you have a closer pic of that area so I know what to do to reattach it. I guess I should look for a thread about taking the bumper off though, scares me to break something though...
thanks

I strip out all the carpet and seats from my rx8 whenever I do an oil change. I figure it's better to be safe than sorry, in case some oil drips into the interior.
Also, I never wash my car. Washing is for chumps. I just get it repainted bi-monthly.

I think the previous owner of my car had that logic, they repainted the car

i wasnt really under the hood during this process, just habit i guess.
here your pic
the red dots are screws, the green line is the center pit, and the pink circles are clips that the bumper snaps into.
the blue circle are the parts i changed.
