So, I saw this online and I couldn't resist. The ratings for it were great, I had some extra spending cash so I ordered it. Just as a disclaimer for anyone who asks, I did not install the dash kit myself. My good friend and ace mechanic Mike did all the work for me, because I'm deployed right now. Yes, it is a layover kit, but it's very high quality vinyl from what he tells me. I know the colors don't match, but it doesn't look too bad if it's not in direct sunlight. I'm not a fan of baby blue, but I do like the accents. Some pieces I will take off, because I feel like it's a bit too much. I think I overpaid for a layover kit, but I thought I'd take the dive just to see. The color is a lighter than how it looks on the website, and in retrospect, I should've gone for the blue carbon fiber look.

The head unit is little too blue for me, think I'll take a couple peices out.

With the door open you can really see the difference in color.

looks like a quality kit... its not too bad... not my style... but as long as you like that is all that matters...I like some of the pieces...

I have the same Dash Trim kit, and I love it. The only thing is, mine is English Wood and I did it myself. Really easy install...

It's all good, the title of the thread is "CarID Dash Layover Kit", so if you you wanted to post up pics of yours to, it would still apply. I'm thinking about taking it off, and getting a different one like the blue carbon fiber, but the 47 peice kit, was not cheap. Just too baby blue.

 

before I got my kit, I asked if they could send me samples of all the different colorS. Once I got them I had a better chance to decide. Too late for you, but whoever else decides on getting a dash kit that's the first step to do, ASK FOR SAMPLES, THEY ARE FREE
