Talking Canadian Rockies

Here's some pics I took this weekend camping in Alberta near Kananaskis.

The last one is a buddy of mine running out of the [FREEZING] water after doing a polarbear swim for $20.

Tons of wildlife on the highway, too. Saw mountain sheep, elk, deer, and wolves. :D

Nice pics buddy. I see you didn't turn off DSC this time, otherwise there would be a pic of a ram head butting your 8.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments!

BlueEyes, I explained it in my first post And yep, that water was really cold. You can't see it from that shot, but there was ice floating about 20 ft away.

You might start a new trend - steel wheels! Gives a nice ruggedness to match the mountain scenery.

Damn, I was supposed to have been at a conference in Banff this week.

I've always driven those roads in a rented SUV; the 8 would be totally change the ride.

Squeal like an elk, boy!

^^^ ha ha .. don't make fun of the poor elk boy. You should have seen his 8 with his battle damaged rear bumper/exhaust.
