Here is my girl Cleo! Bought on 12/31/05. Mods Sofar:

1. XM - Hardwired
2. Windows Tinted
3. Spolier - spoilerdepot.com
4. Aero Flares - mazdatrix.com

I think I'm done for now. I live in Long Beach, Ca and the cops look for anything. I am very happy with the car and the mods as this is my first RX8. Oh and sorry for the front license plate frame it's gone as of now! Check out the onlookers in the Lexus. I get this all the time

No worries Rebel...I cruise the Long Beach all the time and I never get hassled. Just drive responsibley. I think cops have more of there eyes out for ricers and we are anything but.....

Well I'm about 2 days late on my response and the subject has passed, but I need to publicly apologize to Rotorpsycho for my previous post. I had not looked into his location nor had I known that the white had been available elsewhere since 03. Thank you RotaryRider for correcting me. Indeed, I made an *** of myself and will not let it happen again. Please forgive me. Oh, on a more exciting note, I just received word that my 06' Snowflake White Pearl was built on 1/26 and should be arriving here in mid March. Yeah I know, you're thinkin "he didn't even own an RX-8!?!" but I've had my eyes on the car ever since mid 2003. (had to do the War on Iraq thing for a year) Take care!

Originally I installed it myself. It was fairly easy. However, I had wires all over including power from the cig lighter.The wireless FM transmitter from the Roady sounded horribable. So I went to a stereo place in Santa Ana and purchased a FM Modulator and had it hardwired. I'm still not 100% happy with the sound and they installed the roady on a odd angle in my ashtray. I went to another stereo shop where they installed my spoiler and for 30 bucks they cleaned it up and drew power from another source. Although the did not tell me where. If anyone has a better suggestion to get the most from the Bose system using XM. Please let me know.

To avoid all of the wires, it is powered by splicing into the cig lighter(from behind). I bought the FM modulator kit from best buy and everything was included. There are several DIY's on taking the center console and what not apart.

1 Year old this week!

This pic is 2 months old, I've since matched the hood with a MS style Carbon Fibre Wing. Hope You like.....

Smile They're close in weight

I went CF to distinguish mine from the 45 year old woman who bought the other white one in town. She went with an auto too. My favorite mod is the Lip kit.

I want wheels next. Wife wants bling (chrome). I've come to like something dark like black or gunmetal with a polished lip. We'll see...

ya thats really simular, there is some minor differences though, such as theres a missing ridge near the rim and theres no small holes in between the lugnut holes and the lugnut holes dont stretch over the inner dish as much, maybe just another version of the P1

I have an RX-8 on order and it'll pretty much look like yours except for the wheels.

Where did you get your polished aluminum wheels from? Did you order it that way or buy them after market? If so, where?

Or, is your car a Shinka edition? I heard the Shinkas come with a polished look.
