I know that Snowflake White Pearl used to be the color name in Japan while the US was known as Whitewater Pearl........but in 2006 they started calling the US color Snowflake White Pearl as well. Now I don't know this for a fact, but as far as I can tell there's no difference in the color itself. I wondered the same thing when I bought the car and so I bought the JDM MS kit because the US distributors only sell whitewater pearl kits. I just wanted to be certain of a good paint match........which is absolutely perfect.

I want to share this with all the White's out there. I have read multiple posts about what car wax is the best out there. I think one is being overlooked. It's called Rejex! My brother and I found it a few years ago and ever since then, that's all I have used. I swear it will out last anything out there. I seriously only need to use it ONCE a year (water still beads up). It comes off as easy as you put it on. It's used on airplanes. Here is a link about it.

For those of you that try it, you won't be disappointed! If my memory serves me right, it's somewhere around $25 a bottle and you get about 2 cars out of it.

nah imo that kills it, black wheels can have a polished lip on a white car but you definately dont have chrome mixed with whtie, that looks too ghetto and kills the racer look. cool for a 74' mark VII but not for your rx8

It's very hard to find a white set of rims that have the same pearl finish. You could custom paint them if you were pimp enough though. I think it could look very good if done right. We've all watched Unique Whips - you know what I'm talking about...
Personally I prefer Bronze or Gold rims on a white car. Minus the polished lips.

You know what looks sick? The candy gold finish they had on certain Volk wheels at the Tokyo Auto Salon. (I'll see if I can find a pic.) Too bad they aren't releasing that to the public. I would love a set of candy gold LE28's or something.
