So funny story:

This happened this afternoon... :*(

Ouch! Who's fault and what happened?

 

No I think we were talking about getting together for an autox or something but it never panned out.

I was sitting in the right lane and the truck split the lanes to turn wide left and dragged my car about 25 feet before pedestrians were able to stop him. I was laying on my horn and he still kept going. I didn't know what the heck was happening at first. My car was shaking and making a grinding noise. It wasn't until my girlfriend started screaming that I realized I was being pushed from behind.

Sad part is, I was hit by another 18-wheeler earlier this AM in stop and go traffic. He ran into me going about 10 mph. Left a nice sized gouge in my rear bumper. I filed a claim for that and lo and behold, 5 hours later...

I guess it really is time for me to get a new car.

 

Damn. I don't find that very funny. Hope everyone's good.

Honestly, when the car jerked, I was talking to my girlfriend. I thought maybe I let my foot off the clutch in gear, so I instinctively hit my brakes, but I kept moving. That's when I noticed he was pushing me from behind. That and the pedestrians screaming and pointing.

The driver of the 18 wheeler claimed he didn't see me because my car was "too low." He also claimed that I sped along the side of him trying to pass. I guess in the midst of his excuses, he missed the ~25ft tire skid from my driver's side rear tire and the fact that he was in both lanes...

I just filed a claim a couple of days ago for a long piece of wood impaling my front bumper. If they end up saying my car is totaled, I think I'm going to be moving away from the 8.

 

Damn...
