I don't think Shinka wheels were an option. I'm no Shinka expert though.

they dont look like shinka wheels, they look more chrome. which a dealer could have done

Yea damn my mistake. Shinka was the slightly different color and the chrome ones were the ones that no body wanted. I guess I made 2 mistakes yesterday. Bad day

That makes me happy! Dealer told me they were an option from the factory the previous owner chose. I figure anything from the factory is considered stock.
My stock wheels are the same. A local dealer told me that when they were new it was an option that the dealer could order but wasn't listed in the brochures, not sure if that's true but I do remember seeing a new one on the lot with chrome, and they called it black chrome for some reason.

Yea, they had OEM chrome stock wheels as an option for our cars for a time period.

Sorry to sound noobish but, Do rotary engines always smell like oil? Cause my dad has an evo and when he starts it from the exhaust you cant smell anything. But for my rx8 when you start it and from the exhaust its a strong oil/gasoline smell? Is that how they are supposed to be?

Looks nice grayghost, I almost named my car that because my friends kept calling my car the batmobile and it's not black.. and considering the gray ghost was batmans inspiration and all..

i wouldve had another car picture today, but my car went back to mazda with a oil leak. they just finished installing the reman on the 17th and ive only driven it 50 miles and its back at the dealer. one of the OMP lines popped and was spewing oil everywhere..
