Uh that is a lot more than $10k in damages if anyone were to attempt to repair the RX8. No doubt it was totaled by the insurance company.

Smith of Collier County suffered minor injuries and was transported to NCH Downtown Naples Hospital after the 11:20 a.m. crash on southbound Livingston Road, about a half-mile north of Immokalee Road, troopers said. The collision caused about $50,000 worth of damage to the 14-year-old North Naples Fire Department truck, while Smith’s 2004 Mazda RX8 received about $10,000 in damage.

If i didn't sell it soon, I was seriously considering driving it to the boonies somewhere and burning that bitch just to claim it on insurance and ****. Fortunately(?), I was able to sell it legit. (and avoid a potentially horrendous insurance fraud case haha). Still sucks that a fully functioning RX-8 from 2004 with a new engine (in my case) is barely worth $10k.
