Nah, they are not real Brembo's guys. I had a set of brake calipers stickers lying around, so I thought I'll put them on my calipers because I painted them. As for them being tacky....it's fine with me, not many day to day people know the difference between a brembo or a stock. I just put them there to make the bland look of the painted caliper go away.....
Also, it is just as tacky to put RX-8 on them because RX-8 is not brake brand.
Once I can afford good calipers, I will have the stocks upgraded...

I put Mazda on the front and the Mazda emblem on the rears. Still very happy with how they look. I know exactly what you mean about spicing up the bland plain look of painted calipers. Just think it is misleading to pretend it is a different brand of caliper.
I do not condone putting Mazdaspeed decals on stock calipers either.

05Rex8 the sunlight silver painted badges is a subtle change. Looks very smooth.
Car looks good.
Silver calipers looks decent. What paint did you use?
My comment about not putting Mazdaspeed decals was not aimed at you. It is just along the same logic as putting Brembo on them.
I thought about putting them on because I have a few Mazdaspeed items on my 8. Then I thought about what it could be perceived as posing them as a brake upgrade. Some say that painting them can do the same thing but I feel it is more to make them look less drab and show how decent the stock calipers are.

I understand about putting decals on non upgraded calipers like I did. Not everyone likes them, but I thought it would give it a nice touch with the rotors/wheels upgrade.
Anywho....sunlight silver FTW!!!!!
Edit: They are actually mazdaspeed stencils, not decals.... Took a little bit more skill to do it that way!

Ah nice, the rotors are lookin' good.
The next set I get after the slotted ones I have to install will be the Racing Brake two piece vented slot rotors.
Yes, I tried black with the duplicolor high heat. It is hard to see the calipers in that color so the silver is a better choice. I chose blue when I used the G2 because the black high heat did not hold up perfectly. It would have been better if I had used Acetone to clean before applying the paint.
Anyone that uses G2 do not mix the entire can... if you do you will not use it all unless you are doing 2 or 3 cars at the same time. I did 4 coats and still had half the can left over.
Did that on the rotors the second time and it has held up very well.
