not the biggest fan of VL. I opted for the MS because if its wider opening (and looks, of course!). Though I do agree that we need to see some more kitted out PB's!

Just been out autocrossing my PB today she need a new clutch though so I am not sure if she will make it through the day tomorrow. I think I will order a new clutch tonight and race her anyway. I may just have to drive home in 3rd gear to stop the slipping.

I was gonna have my bumper painted LAST week, but I ended up getting pretty busy. This week isn't lookin good, either

Not really any problems but mine is an after market so they have to fit it all, its going to be quite expensive.
The rear spoiler was not a good fit on the boot so I am having them mold it to the trunk lid.
The Front bumper does not house the fog lights so I will be losing them for the time being.
I went into the shop after they had done about 7 hours work and all the parts were on the car but not secured. Even though the parts were black it looked great.

If yours is a already fit correctly you could just pay them to spray it for you, maybe even do the undercoat yourself. They told me I will also need to blend the hood or you will notice the difference.

Here is my Phantom Blue having just had the body kit installed, I have already added this video but think it should also be added to the Phantom Blue thread.

Nice job on the vid and the wing! Like it!

Though personally for the front mesh, id prefer it in black rather than shiny silver...

Otherwise, nicely done mate!

Thanks, I agree about the mesh in the front bumper, it came silver and really bright I hope it will dull down a little over time. If not I may spray it or something.

I cannot add spacers and stay in the STX autocross class unless it is to adjust aftermarket wheels back to stock specs (I think). I see coil-overs in my future but wont be dropping the height too much maybe 20-30mm I think that will really help the profile. I need to stop the wife driving my car at that point though else my front bumper will scuffed up of every little bump. Like all cars its a working progress.

Has anyone used Dr. Colorchip on their PB? I've searched and found several posts where people were going to give it try, but haven't seen any feedback re results.

The track has been hard on my baby.

Thanks!

I've used it on my black cherry mica. It is good for small dings but not scratches. There is a great demo on you tube that was done by a guy at a BMW meet I believe. It works - but it is just a cosmetic fix. It won't look perfect. What it accomplishes is sealing off the ding so that you don't rust. In the process, it takes away the silver spot so you can't see the ding unless you look closely. For $49 it is a good deal. Hope this helps you.

Probably me. I'm pretty sure I was the only PB there.

shinka model

My 06 RX8 is a "Shinka" model...in phantom blue. Compliments of my husband finding it. The seats are amazing in design. The seating has ridges..there are some photos with that style. She's a gorgeous piece of eye "Candy".
