Are those wheels the 9.5" wide RPF1's? What size tire are you running? what tire are you running? how much camber?

I am going to assume your running around a 255 tire, agressive street tire, ~ .5 negative?

am i right?



If so, that would explain some of the tire flex I see.

I'm actually running 18X8.0...stock offset, and 235 tires all around
and the camber is F -2.8~3.0 R -2.5~2.8
And the Federal 595RS tire is good !! cheap and grip

well, then I guess those tires do have some pretty good grip. The flex is pretty crazy. way more flen then I got with R-Compounds even.

I didn't win though, but it was fun working on this project ... The winner was another RX8 from my club.

Thanks Rotr8! I joined another competition recently organized by the Japan GT Race that's going to be coming to Sepang International F1 Circuit next month... it was a marketing roadshow side-event, and I made it to the finals which means my car will be displayed at the circuit during the race in the end of June... Hopefully there will be a lot of picture taking with Japanese GT Queen models, and hope I get to win some of the prizes like tires, rims, etc...

The front lip is going come off next week coz I just received my new bumper... previously I was going for the INGS+1, but changed my mind, and I now have a Fujita Engineering (Feed) piece... going for fitment and spraying this week...
