Calling all Lightning Yellows
 

Hi all, I would love to start the least popular color thread which is guess what you guys so please all post as many of your best pics of your rare car. Cuz i want a damn nice background plus im getting yellow.

hence the ultra cool rareness of it is rareness a word? any way yeah I cant wait to get mine since i know ill be the only 1 in toms river nj with it and its ultra cool

I would have thought nordic green was the least popular, but what in the hell do i know.

anyhow here is a poor artist rendition of the car in yellow

vw beetle meets mini cooper they get married then they adopt a rx8 = whatever that is i wish i could draw........

i think it was yellow and green when i polled this forum

I've since added clear corner blinkers and front splash guards

And matching yellow trim floor mats

This Yellow has been driving around the next town over (Manchester) since 2/2004 I only go into Toms River for service, too many dam cars on the road during the summer. When you get your Yellow I'll buy you a beer at Nick's on 37, two yellows side by side would look cool!

to bad you cant get yellow with two tone black and red leather interior....and i also think that the orange corners look good on yellow.

that was actually a poll done on this website i didnt just pull them as my favs sorry if there was confusion. And hell yeay theres to many bennies here in toms river and sea side heights and sorry but ull get arrested if u buy me 1 but hell ill accept my parents dont mind.

Not sure how far Machester is from King of prussia, but we are all meeting on July 17th. A few members have yellow RX-8's if you want to get some good shots!

It's About 75 miles east. I went to one meet this year, the 4/18 one. With a family weekends in the summer are hard.

ya , i got yellow ,and errr my girlfriend doesn't really like it says it attracts too many hot girls when I go clubbing :p , anyways , I am going to repaint it to the midnight blue that everyone is talking about ... cool thing is , I get free paint jobs :)

I am really surprised by the results of the poll with regard to the color Silver. It is near the bottom, just above Yellow.

I have a Yellow Protege 5, but I don't think I will go with a Yellow 8. I've got enough Yellow as it is!

Me too, I've had nothing but compliments. However, I think those that don't like yellow are just polite and keep their mouths shut.

You either love yellow, hate it, or don't have the guts to go with such a loud color but admire it as well.

I love my yellow car. Everytime I go get gas, everyone comes around to see my car =)
Anyway, i was wondering what % tint would look nice on the yellow. Any ideas?

Man, yellow's a good lookin color but I've never seen one in person, not even at dealerships. You guys have an exclusive color! :D

Since this thread got revived, I'll throw my LY on. Looking at the pics, it seems that appearance package w/ front splash guards is the norm for yellow! Anyone have pics of strakes on yellow?
