Yeah mine is black, but it has a crapy paint job, the previous owner put some maaco on it or something and it is dull in spots no matter how much I clay bar, wax, polish. Your cars a so pretty though.

 

I refuse to even go to Maaco's website, they're HORRIBLE. My bud got his car painted there, and they removed the antenna, badges, and never put em back, There was overspray in the wheel wells, on the tires, wheels, and exhaust. I REFUSE!!

Mine is a black 04.. its pretty..these are gorgeous too.. i love the way everybody puts a bit of their own character in the appearance of the Rx8s..... I am not so sure i would get my 8 painted at Maaco, but I must say I had my Nissan Maxima painted at a Maaco here in Memphis, and they actually did a great job...for not very much money. The couple that owns and operated the shop are advertised in the back of my church bulletin, so i mentioned that. I am not sure if they made clear to their employess that day or what but my Nissan was painted the original color, a dark marroon, and it looked great, four years later it still does. Just for the record..again though i may not take my 8 there if i ever i need it painted unless i knew for sure i could get the same painter. That is what really makes the difference, not the name on the sign outside. Thankfully my car is still looking fab!!!

lol.. not my car, a friends.. just parting it out and mac needed the front clip where he wrecked his... so OFF it come. :D its a little more naked now that the motor is gone too.
