never posted in here since i got my 8 in november, but finally got to wash that snowy grime off my car over the weekend and take a picture

 

How are you guys posting your pics? it's weird, ive been on this forum for a bit, and havent posted pics of my car yet.

 

There's different ways to do it. The way i post pics is i upload them to my photobucket, then transfer the image link to here. Sign up to www.photobucket.com it's free, and easy to upload pictures.

 

^ yep and then you just copy the image code [IMG] into your message... and voila

 

photobucket is Jedi Approved.

 

how are you guys attaching thumbnails though?

 

click on Go Advanced
- Click on Manage Attachments
- Click Browse
- Find picture
- Attach
- Upload

Repeat for up to 5 photos per post.

^Body kit looks very nice and clean. Personally i think completely black wheels don't look as good as black wheels with a crome lip on them. But overall the car looks very nice.

 

Chrome lip on the OEM wheels would look funny because of the way the spokes stretch out to the lip.

 

Yeah but i was thinking more of getting aftermarket black wheels with a crome lip. This is my favorite Black on Black rx8.

 

Yup that car is the reason I bought mine! After buying the car new with all the extras incluing satnav and then getting the authentic MS kit I had like zero $$$ left. Powdercoating my OEM wheels was the best I can do whilst I save up for the wheels.

 

^Yeah i'm in the same boat as you. I loved that car so i had to have a black 8. I couldnt afford the HRE wheels because they are $2000+ so i got some cheaper black wheels with a crome lip. I will be getting the MS kit eventually, but first i need a few performance mods.

 

g4, I really like what you did. What is the rear bumper? It doesn't look like the MS...

I'll be completing my kit this sat. and hopefully, if im not lazy, ill be washing it and taking some pics. my Rmagic eyelids should be comin in next month. literally, im flat out broke now. haha.

 

I really like this one with out the chrome lip it makes it more stealth. =]

 

The red light on the rear MS bumper on mine is a fog light which is a requirement in the UK. Unfortunately the OEM roytary fog does not fit there.
