If anyone has them post a pic!
Also, is there any chance of working out a group buy for them? that would be cool!

Well upon first look I thought as much as 40hp...but then I realized I was wrong and that they actually added a bit of drag. I factored in the drag to HP ratio-MPG and came up with that figure. Glad my equation was right. As soon as I get these I will post a new big of my super HP beast!

Well I haven't found a pic. This is the "Spec" sheet. https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=56087
Also the Shinka has Copper Red as a color choice. Not my kinda color but whatever. "Shinka" is now a package like the GT. Definatly check out the 2006 Model Year Thread in the RX-8 Discussion section.
I am glad I got the limited color while I did. I love the car, people say it's purple on the forum but I like the rich blacks and the subtle browns and reds it puts out!.
I also feel like Nav is a tool for people who are lost or aren't paying attention cause they are on a phone or something :D I love to drive, not be distracted.

New Shinka Owner!!
New Shinka owner here! Just picked mine up last night. It is incredible. Appearance pkg, moon roof deflector and spoiler. Already making a list of all the modifications I want to do after reading about the cool things the rest of you have done!!!! My car is #1022. It was pretty funny I had done so much research on this website I knew things about the car that the salesman didn't know!!!

Here's a noobie question. I finally downloaded the pics of my Shinka from my camera. However when I try using "manage attachments" there is a 100k limit (my pic is 650k). I used the "compress" option on MS Office to get it down, but clarity is "off". How do you guys post those large shots here?
This is my 5 year old son in his Batman costume next to the new Batmobile (wife's nickname for the Shinka).

Doing it this way will preserve the resolution and will show up fairly large and clear (check mine on previous posts)... at least this is how I got around that st#pid limit. Hope it helps!

The fast and dirty way is to open the picture using MS Paint. Click IMAGE, go down and choose STRETCH/SKEW, and then adjust the STRETCH horizontal/vertical percentage values. I usually use ~30% for both... Then, save the pic on your desktop or pic folder (whichever one you choose). Find it and rightclick-properties to see how big the file you have. You may have to experiment a little to get it as close to 100k but once you got it its very easy to repeat next time.

So the guys who post the pictures in with the text are using imageshack. Otherwise, you get the thumbnails and working into that 100k limit. I'll have to check that out.
Looks like with appropriate manipulation I can get just under 100k with this version.
Thanks for the help wedge!

I just finished conduit/pulling wire. Now I get to play with the main panel! After a few HVAC quick changes, I can hang drywall (will bid that out, I HATE taping/mudding). I promised it would be done before the holidays and I only work on it over weekends.
I like the fender strikes too, but read on a thread they have a tendancy to corrode. Anyone in snowy climates had issues with that? Apparently there's a guy in the UK who does stanless steel versions.
