Yup, did it in about 2.5 hours. If I have to do it again I can probably do it in half the time, I just took my time to make sure I followed the instructions well and not mess anything. It does look very clean compared to other intake systems in the market. Just one of those feel good, pat in the back moment once I'm done.

Im considering a cool air intake...what made you go with the REVi and do you have any hp#s.....Im told the AEM when available is also a good choice.

It did felt peppier midrange after the install. Good intake sound with WOT but quiet with normal driving. I might consider adding the RB CAI extension later if people here get good result from it. In the mean time I removed the plastic piece below where the Fresh Air Duct extension tube sits for good air circulation.

BTW, AEM cai for the RX-8 is already available I think. Check their website.

Have my clear corners and will have the b/s put them on during the "surgery". I'm thinking of adding radar, FLIR and a couple of concealed sidewinder missles to deal with semi's in the future.

No such effing luck, too bad the airbags didn't go off. $10.5 in damage and at this point it's all "cosmetic" Insurance agreed to the estimate on Wednesday, so parts were ordered - 2 days to ship. I'm off to visit the hospital tomorrow and check on the patient. My wife says that my gf is missing me and all the tlc. I believe I'm stuck in my rental Corolla for another two weeks. The BI and diminished value claims are coming right along though.

I *knew* you would.

Hopefully we both attend some future rx-8 event. I would like to get a picture of both of our cars.

Here are two pictures of my car after the MS Suspenssion upgrade. I cleaned the background noise with Photoshop :-)

Finally!!

Got my Clear corners in, the accents, rear wing, tinting and clear bra. I actually like the deflector also.

Stealth type bulbs are next as the LED side markers were not so good

Howdy! I just joined the Shinka League today! By the time I got home and worked with my wife to get dinner for the kids it was too late for pictures. Bought it with appearance, spoiler, rotary and spare.

Dealer needs to clean up a few external/internal "imperfactions next week" but the kids and I LOVED the drive home. Took the misses for a ride aorund the block (several times) before I put the "batmobile" (wife's name for it) in the garage for the night.

I'm SO excitied. I'm trying to figure out where I can drive tomorrow.......

Just a word of advice on the deflector. I had one on mine when I bought the car,I left it on for about 3 months. When I got ready for a good waxing I removed it to find very small scratches underneath. It appears as dust and dirt can get underneath it and over time can scratch the paint. I had take it to a professional to buff out the scratches. I never reinstalled it on the car. So just a heads-up on that if your going to leave it on your car, remove it periodically and clean well underneath. It may help to make sure it's tightly secured to the top also as any dirt, sand etc. coupled with movement could cause scratches as well. Which I think was my case.

Just got my wife one yesterday. How many of these where made? I was told production was real low on these. Is that true? She just learned to drive it today. I am looking at performance parts right now. Hopefully gonna get it up to speed with my SRT.
