My shinka is modded, has a revi intake, soon to have hymee exhaust and revi ram extension. Next year will get suspension and wheels. I don't think I'll be changing the exterior of the car though, probably will get rid of some of the black leather in the interior and put in leather that matches the seats, also need to do some work on that crappy bose stereo.

 

I don't have the shock sensor option installed in my car but I think you should be able to adjust the sensitivity on that thing if not take it back to the dealer and let them do it for you.

Tyler8, I got my "stealth" bulb for the clear corners from Discount Auto parts for about $2 I think. Much cheaper than online, although you can only get parking light stealth bulbs online only.

 

Clear corners not sold in your local Mazda Dealership. Check the website for all the vendors listed here in this forum. most of them sells it.

 

There are 2 left at Byer's Mazda in Columbus, Ohio. One MT and one AT.

When I got mine, they had the MT and 2 ATs left. So, someone in Columbus got a Shinka AT recently.

once you start you cant stop.....I bought my shinka with nothing extra on it....I mean nothin'....when I joined the forum and saw what everyone was doing I just couldnt help myself...its an addiction...like tatoos....I think my first mod was clear corners and that was all she wrote....check the list in my signature!!! :D

 

Shinka 213, what grade tint did you decide to go with?

 

got 20 on the back and 35 up front...just to make it somewhat legal. I'm told that in PA any tint is illegal unless its factory but definitely 20 up front is pushing it....so I wanted to be safe.....at my age, Im not trying to get stopped by the cops for that...that would be a little ridiculous...lol :D

How many Shinkas to be sold in US,only 110 in total in Austraila. Any idea of total number RX8s sold in US.

 

Not sure if this is the FINAL production number, I believe it is, but they only made 1357. There's a PDF file around here that give all the production numbers on Shinkas. Which VIN# is which Shinka, etc. Mine is 507. :D

 

Mazda's website claims only 2150 will be made.....perhaps that is worldwide

Here you go... The RB intake seems to have a different sheen compare to the battery cover but that is only from the camera flash, its really the same as everything else.
