i see gregs car all the time, trust me you cant see the color difference in person unless you are in the worst lighting conditions! pics always exaggerate the difference.

Must have been unfortunate lighting

Other people have done it. I considered doing it a while back too but never got around to it. Regardless, I think real mesh + cutting the exhaust shield looks awesome.

Haha just like tilt mentioned others have cut the rear bumper..but I don't think I have seen anyone cut the heat sheild...I look foward to seeing yours (look foward to seeing more modded 8's) no hate coming from me.

Nice!! I suppose that intake is no longer sold? I hate having all those nipples on the Mazdaspeed intake that fits awkwardly

the intake is no longer sold (Mazsport) since the company went under, it does have a cleaner look
