^^ I actually did my own PDR today, and I must say I did one hell of a job! (Pat on my own shoulder)

 

I called the shop today and they told me she was ready. I got there and a bunch of stuff was still messed up on my car and the spoiler was not on. I walked inside and the girl says "shes ready!!" I told her she wasnt but the manager came out confused as to why I was there. He said he was waiting for the new window to come in and he would have her ready for me tomorrow... The paint did look great from what I saw!! So thats a good sign!!

 

dude...they're idiots. i'm sorry you have to put up with that.

Ok, Im on my way to go get her now!! They called and said that the glass guy sent the wrong window so other than that she should be perfect... The window will be in Tuesday....

Sooo I just got back.. and I am PISSED! The hood looks great, the door handles look great, they put my spolier on YAY.. But he driver side door looks all scratched up and I can only assume that they messed up the clear coat on the passenger side door.. The doors where fine!!! I didnt ask them to do anything to the doors and they had to go and mess with them! Te pasenger side door has this huge hazy spot that looks like they globbed clearcoat on it.. Oh and the spolier well the sides of it look like crap too.... So Im letting them replace my window Tuesday then Im taking her straight to the insurance companies office to show them how F'ed up my car looks... My poor baby :o(

 

Janna this is just BS!!!! PLEASE Ask your insurance company if you can take Flea somewhere else...Have them fix the damage and pay that company...then the insurance company can take the original shop to court to get their money back if that's what it takes..You should not be out one red cent....but your deductible. You need to get a rental while you are out your car and that shop pay that bill as well! Ya know it sounds like someone at that body shop "knows' someone that either lives or runs that golf course!

Small claims court.

 

I talked to my insurance guy today. He is goign to come out Tuesday whn they replace the window they F'ed up... If they are not willing to let me take my car to a different shop and get it fixed right then Im dropping them and taking the body shop to small claims court.. Im not too worried about a rental since I do have my RX7.
