That really sucks, Pink! Did you have it taken in due to all the golf ***** in your area?

Geez, it just seems you aren't getting much of a break when it comes to the 8, are ya?? Let us know how it goes after they "fix" it.

I would like to know how they are going to fix the rubber.

My experience says it can't be done. Needs a new strip..

They must have used a wet back.

i say get something in writing saying that they will redo this job free of charge and replace everything they've ruined. and add in the spoiler. get signatures and if they start to hassle you, would this be something you could bring to your insurance?

Have you ever seen a car made by General Motors? I don't mean to be rude, but they have some crazy orange peel.

I am sorry about your car, seems like you have not had it too well recently.

I think they will have to end up replacing the strip and the window... Im not the one who did it so no wet back involved.. I actualy know the guy who did it and Im a bit suspicious of wether he did it intentionally or not... Kinda mixed feelings toward eachother at the moment... But I dont think he would risk his job over me telling him to **** off.

It is covered through my insurance and I have paperwork saying they gurantee there work. I am also calling the insurance company first thing in the morning to let them know what happened so there is a record of it. I think the guy is a pretty good guy and wont try to screw me.... We will have to wait and see...

If they dont fix EVERYTHING they did then I will definately file a claim against them. I called and left my insurance agent a message but he has yet to call me back... Im going to try him again.

TY... Its killing me that I have to wait til Tuesday to take her back up there.... It felt so good to drive her yesterday for the 1st time in almost 3 weeks. I think I gave them more than enough time to fix her the right way in the first place.

Well, if he couldn't remove it without having to repaint it, I wouldn't of let that person touch my car. Any good PDR will remove any type of dents..

Trust me, it needed repainting, some of the dents had paint scratched off . My insurance guy called so I made him aware of what happened. He said they will send a rep out Tuesday when I take the car up there.

Man this isnt nothing cpmpared to what happened to me..

Paint in my seats all in my radio ***** on my steering wheel and dash..
car got keyed i took it in and when i got it back it was worse than when it went it..
I found little dings and dings that seemed like the paint was smeared.. orange peal on the fender!

took it in 3 times.. iu even had a allstate rep come out with us... and it was still a poor job.. the paint was chipping due to low quality and when i toldt he guy he said.. "well since its such a high quality paint its more shiney and looks much better than OEM paint its also more brittle"

those people Bs top much

The shop is called "custom car crafters" in austin texas DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!.
I have rough spots and all you cant notice it to the average person but since i know my car in every detail. I can tell.

they sent me to this leather place to get my seats repaired and re stained.. but the little freckles are still there.. I was out of a car for almost a month they refused to give me a rental car..
i just gave up with these people that dont even care about your car.. they charged my insurance 3500 to remove the key marks.. and i expected a GREAT QUALITY JOB turned out they didnt even paint the entire car whent hey said THE ENTUIRE CAR needed to be repainted because it was white water pearl
