philip: the radar is mounted to the mirror, you'd have to knock your mirror off to have that fall off.
It's how I've had my radar mounted for years.

the wire goes up into the roof and connects into the homelink mirror wire. i had trouble grounding it because of length issues but ended up getting it jammed into a piece of metal up there that works haha.

also i have done a sharp loop at 105 mph and it didnt move at all, it is VERY secure.
