Honestly, I like the looks of the new Eclipses. Don't know enough about any other aspects to make more of a judgment, really. (although the weight is kind of a put-off) It's always kind of neat to see pics of the 8 with other unique-looking vehicles, too.

I saw about 6 of the 2006 Eclipses on a Mitsu lot 2 days ago, and all the stickers were over $30k.
Honestly, anyone who pays that much for an Eclipse is retarded. I also noticed that they never fixed that problem of 5" wheel gap that plagued all the previous Eclipses. It is in dire need of a serious drop to just look normal.

my buddy actually paid full sticker (almost 31k) with a $500 addendum on it....from what he told me he has seen up to 5k over sticker attached to them because they finished the first production run of them and they are trying to keep demand high so they will wait to make more....

I can see that they made their seat similar to the 8. One of my friends just bought one and he paid 34k. i think thats ridiculous. The 8 definitely IMO looks better. The eclipse do have pretty good torque though. It will surely beat the 8 off the line but based on the short time that i was in the eclipse, im not sure i want to be in there for a long drive.
