Wow... it's almost scary how similar our 8s now look. Same hood thing going on.. same wheel scheme. I was even contemplating blacking out the corners.

Where do you get the sticky vinyl from, I was thinking of doing this on my silver 8, maybe do a chrome vinyl if there is such a thing?

 

I bought mine from a sign shop but you can buy it cheaper online. You'd be amazed in the number of colors it comes in - Google it and see. Popular brands are Avery and 3M.

 

Yea you can get some sticky vinyl from a sign shop or art store too. They sell it by the yard

 

And here is what it looked like today at the autocross event. I didn't do too bad.. considering it was raining buckets.

The second picture was the other car in my class (B Street Prepared) I was running against - a sponsored tricked out Evolution...

I don't know the exact final results yet but I feel pretty "good" in saying that his times were a "mere" (approximate) 4 seconds faster than mine.. considering the conditions.
