floss and a hot glue gun work. This is always one of the first visual mods to do. Not a fan of chrome

 

What's the badge actually made of?
If it would stand being heated, you could maybe do some iridescent or sparkling effects with a blowtorch, a bit of metallurgy research, and some really cheap ingredients.

 

I understand the floss... but the hot glue gun? What would you use that for? lol

 

I used goo-gone and floss. Some of the areas were stuck on pretty good and the floss broke, a little goo-gone and a few min allowed the floss to cut through it.

 

Hmm... might go ahead and debadge today just to commit lol

 

Are you de-badging to paint? Cause there's holes under the flying bird and the rx8 badge.

 

There arent any holes under the RX8 badge^^^^ just the flying M(2) and the MAZDA(3) on the trunk.


i used fishing line. IMO i dont think floss is that strong. maybe for older RX8s but i did mine when my car was only a few months old.
