Black 8 w/Volks - Utah photoshoot Kolob Canyon
Thought I would share some pics I took while visiting my brother for the first time in Utah. Drove up the 15 from Los Angeles area and found some spots along the way that were interesting to me.
One of the spots is just north of Mesquite, and south of St. George, called Virgin Gorge. A second spot was Kolob Canyon, which is north of St. George, and south of Cedar City. A third was a little Indian Art community outside of St. George. Don't recall what it was called, but the hills in the background were lit up by the falling sun.
It is times like these I wish I had a better camera, or more knowledge of how to use mine a little better.
I realized that this was the first time, in two years, I've taken pics with my doors open...adds a whole new option for taking pics.

Here are some more pics from those three areas. I thought the coloring of the roads in the canyon were interesting. The clay red, with bright yellow road stripes. I tried my best to get the reflection of the stripes on my car in the first pic....it helped me realize how many little dings I've got from the parking lot at work.

I have so many more pics, but realized that even at 25 pics, I'm sure most of you are bored at looking at my car.
I thought the road in pic 1 was cool, catching a glimpse of the winding road...and pic 2, an interesting shot with the doors open.
