The RX-8 only had about 200hp and went up against the Amuse S2K ~300+hp and did pretty darn good for being SEVERELY under powered.

 

The Amuse S2K has roughly 260hp, it just competes in the Touge 300 class. Also, the RX-8 had to have more than 200hp, they come stock with more than that. Lastly, the Amuse S2K was slowing down and toying with the RX8, so that's not very glorifying for the RX8...

 

Show me a list of stock RX8s that have dyno'd over 200hp. kthxbye!

 

Those horsepower figures aren't measured at the wheels. What bolt-on equipped S2K has gotten 260whp? It'd take a built motor to achieve that, and the Amuse car only has i/h/e/ecu as far as power goes.
