Been waiting for today
I got my '07 8 about 2 months ago. It has been great so far, despite the lousy weather and driving on snow tires. So yesterday I was finally going to have my new summer tires put on, and was excited to try them out. It was a very nice day, so I spent the first part of the day cleaning and washing the car.
After I got the tires, I took the car out onto some country roads (nice and twisty) and had a blast...until the electronics started acting crazy. First my passenger side door started clicking and the light on the dash showed my door was opening and closing along with my dome light going on and off. I checked the door a few times, but it was latched completely. I stopped a little bit later to get gas, and when I started the car, all of the center dash lights were out. I had no clock, no radio, and the lights for my climate control were out. They have not, unfortunately, come back on.
The car is still under warranty so I'm going to take it to Mazda to have it checked out. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
Also, here are some pics.

So glad I joined this forum. It was in fact the fuse, which for even a mechanically impaired person such as myself was an easy fix. Thanks for the input, it definitely saved me a trip to the shop.
As for the pics, I can't figure out how to fix them. I tried attaching them directly from my computer, but the file wouldn't load. So I set up a flickr account to be able to share the pics, but don't know how to make them bigger.

That may be. After I replaced the fuse, the car did the same thing and blew another fuse. Replaced that one, and the car is acting like it's going to do it again. The passenger door will start clicking really fast and my dash will read the door opening and closing.
Taking it to a dealer's on Wednesday. Hopefully it's not too big of a problem. Otherwise, I guess I'll bring in the ghost hunters.

Thanks. I'll let you know what happens on Wednesday, and I'll try to post some bigger pictures.
It's funny. On any other car that I've owned, something like this would just make me pissed at the car. But man, I still love that machine.
Still, that clicking, though, has got to go. It sounds like Morse code.
