Looks like the hood has some fitment issues.

Oh and I agree with Big O, looks better with the corners.

Well, that makes the whole amber-reflector/clear-reflector debate moot, doesn't it?

I assume they're not real fussy about nuances like that in Kentucky?

Nope, they are gone. Local laws dont require them according to some of the police officers ive asked round here. If it is required, they just dont care. I prefer them without. I shaved them on my P5 too years ago and never had problems with the law.

Hmm, a lot of power is probably being used to spin those giant wheels. You could say that's missing.

The yellow doesn't look to match either. Is that just the pictures?

I need to align the hood a little bit, and put the little gaurds back in the front that seal up at the front, but its not near done and is coming off again in the paint booth this weekend. Then ill put the grill in it and let the hood sit on the car in the heated paintbooth after we repaint the car, so that it finds it final form. Everyone we install seems to fit even better after it sits in the sun on a hot day for a few hours.

Not bad, but I'm a fan of clear corners.

The hood is missing it's paint as well. Once you get that sucker painted and it'll look pretty good. I agree that the hood definitely has some fitment problems.

Your bumper isn't the same color as the rest of the car...
Who painted that?

Btw, I have to tell you that, although I like the overall look of your car, I was talking to a sales lady at Paul Miller Mazda and she mentioned that she saw a yellow RX-8 at the gas station. She was looking at it and you asked if she liked your car and she said, "not really".

It was kinda funny cause I just realized that it must've been your car that she saw.

I was living in Lexington, but just moved to Huntsville, AL.

I know all the sales ladies at PMM, im there all the time, i dont remember ever seeing one at a gas station, she must have talked to my little bro or one of the other 2 yellows in town.

I painted the bumpers, ive never used a paint gun in my life, i just "cut them in" to get them ready for the whole paint thing this weekend, I thought they turned out alright for a guys thats never painted or mixed paint, but thats just me. My roommate paints cars for a living and does damn good work, so he's shooting the whole car for me.
As for the hood, we are just waiting to align it on a day when its warm and can sit in the sun all day. As per Seibons recommendation.
