Yeah looking at the video I would imagine that it would be very close to the end of the 1/4 mile since it was topping out in third and about to shift into fourth.... so that would be closer to a 9 second run...
Insane... We should put it up against this car

Isn't one of the Mazda racecars a 4 rotor? I mean... we aren't talking useful daily driver any more... At least not with out a killer muffler! But, damn, I'd like to be sitting right behind the wheel on a beast like that.

Don't remember. Probably. It was over in SoCal a few weeks ago. Apparently, they treated everyone to a listen. I couldn't make it. I thought it was a 4 rotor, though.

I was "Import Wars" the past weekend at the local strip, there was a Corolla (yes, a Corolla) with a 20B in it there that sounded even meaner than that car. Actually it sounded like copmplete **** overall, the idle was screwy and it sounded like it was detonating the whole way down the track. It amanged to run a few 15s and a couple 17s, there was also an N/A FC (ported I would imagine) running low 14s there that sounded much more in tune and pretty mean, looked a lot faster going down the track than it really was. The coolest mazda cars there were actually in the car show which overall had a bunch of really ugly rice however there was an RX-3SP (priginal paint) that was pretty trick as well as a stock original paint RX-3 wagon. That's the first time I had seen an RX-3 wagon in person, it was pretty damn cool.

This is old, and a 26b has 900hp none turbo, also the 20b is 300hp just for you to know. And this is not a 4 rotor video a 4 rotor engine can pull out more power then 214mph.
