I used my aunts Photoshop a little, I mainly used "Boost Color" and some other minor things to add to the "Stack"... sharpened them a tad etc etc. Its all my aunts lenses/ camera though. I believe I used Phototune 2.5 or something like that

She has a Canon EOS 40D camera with about $3500 in lenses (so like 4 lenses lol). Good stuff, im jealous she has a badass camera, I wish I could afford a good one.

Her camera was basically the whole reason why I came out lol...

^^^ I might take you up on that, I know you'd take good care of your lenses/camera... was it used before you bought it? How many/which lenses do you have?

Also I was thinking about getting a D3000 because it takes video as well... but I forgot to tell you that one reason also why my aunts camera is so clear is because its like 16 megapixels

I just have the lens that came with it. I bought it from my boss who used it maybe 5 tops. Your aunts camera is pimp for sure but megapixels doesn't mean a whole lot. Her cam has a great processor and lens are key.

They look great man, I have a few photographers in the family and some use Nikon and some Canon. They are both great camera's.

^^^ From everything ive read its pretty much up to you if your a Canon guy or a Nikon guy... Idk who to pick though, I know its basically all in the lens (jesus i was mis-spelling it the whole time lol) but I want a good processor as well, and the better the processor the more $$$ its going to cost

Idk we will see what I will do though, I might get a D5000/D3000 hell I dont even know... tough man

Thread jacking.... I own the D90. It truely is a great camera. Does the "video" thing. If you are looking for a video camera by that. Don't buy a DSLR. If you want to shoot photos then it is one of the best camera on the market right now. Put it too you this way the video function the Iphone is better than the d90. In video mode doesn't autofocus and most metering is turned off. Plus you can't shoot for long periods of time. The sensor heats up and you run the risk of killing it. Now for pictures it truely is just a wonderful camera. I have shot about 15K frames through it and still shoots like the day it was new. Survived two cruises on the flightdeck with no issues. I would post up some pics but I just deleted all my jpgs and only have raw formats.

Thanks for some info, I just wanted to have a video feature but this would primarily be a picture camera. I will deffinately look into a D90 and D5000/3000

Appreciate it man...

All three use the same sensor and processor engine in them. The D90 took it from the D300 and put it into a smaller body. Now there a huge feature differences between the three and much less cost for the lower models. D90 can be had for about 1k now with 18 to 105 lens.(**** for what the body is but thats a WHOLE other story) With D5000/3000 they are much cheaper. Another resource is on google for this guy who reviews camera named blackburn or blackwell. It is something like that. Great real world reviews of the camera and all the pro's and con's of each. If it was up to me and money wasn't an issue buy the 90. I was a finalist in this years Aviation Week photo contest with this camera. To give you an idea of how good the camera is straight out of the box. This was a filter only, no photoshop or retouching at all.

Now with the video, it is nice to have I just don't use it much. One of the guys in the squadron bought this camera this cruise and he shoots videos to go along with his photos. He loves that side of it and the ability to do both. It shoots in HD and all that great stuff but don't expect it to be this great video camera like some want it to be. It is a picture camera with video capablity.

If you have any questions about let me know. I just got the 18-200 nikkor lens after this cruise and it so worth the money. About 700 now, but a great general purpose lens.

Damn Brandon, lovin' what you did with the car bro! You make me want to buy another 8 soon! Haha, glad to see that she's in good hands and love what you've done with the ride! Btw, for all those wondering the led lights throughout the car were indeed from vleds...the leds were the HID high power leds and the fogs and high beams are HID match bulbs from Hoen USA.

I'm definitely saving some copies of these pics lol. So what else you have planned for that beautiful car? =)
