Anyways, they are both nice. And yes, you need to take off your traction control. Drop the clutch at 4500 rpm and get back to me. Don't let the smoothness of the rotary deceive you. It's quick. It's not the fastest car in the world. But, it holds its own.
sure, it will try it sometimes...honestly, i never drop the clutch more than 3k rpm..
since i afraid i will break it..
anyways, thxs for the recommendation...

hmm...how often do you park this car in a plaza on Sawtelle Blvd? I used to take the street during the summer, on my way to my summer job in Westwood, and would see this 8 parked there every week. The first time i saw...almost got in an accident because i kept staring, lol.

Just don't do any drops at ridiculous rpms like 7500 or something and you'll be fine.

Of course, that's how magazines got their 5.8 0-60 times but hey.... they did that because they don't own the car!

anyway, i love Dubs, too, so i like your GTI (even though i'm more of a Mk1 man, myself).
i bought the wheel lugs in Hong Kong for like 120usd
they are rays, too...
